Overview

The County’s Human Resources Department is responsible for the recruitment, evaluation, provision of career development opportunities, employee assistance program, and management of the County’s affirmative action program.

The County employs approximately 1,884 individuals in 31 departments. County employees enjoy rewarding careers in the areas of public safety, leisure services, technical and management fields, and community development. We are extremely proud of the dedication, selflessness, fortitude, diligence, and hard work this department has shown to our 1,884 employees, over 1,600 retirees, and countless citizens.
