How To Do Business with Macon-Bibb County

Welcome to vendor registration and how to do business with Macon-Bibb County. Whether you’re a seasoned vendor or new to government contracting, this resource will provide you with valuable insights and guidance to navigate the process seamlessly.

To get started doing business with the County, please complete the entire vendor registration package to be set up as a new vendor, or to update existing vendor information.

The following documents are required:

  • Macon-Bibb County Vendor Application.
  • W-9 Form (Request for Taxpayer Identification Number and Certification).
  • Copy of current year Business License if your business is located in BIBB County. For all vendors, including individuals. Contact Macon-Bibb County Tax Commissioners Office (478) 621-6500 with any questions regarding business licensing.
  • Georgia Security and Immigration Compliance Act (E-Verify) Affidavit.
    • E-Verify and Private Employer Affidavit (attached) – must be completed, signed, and notarized.

How to submit your documents to Procurement Department?

Option 1: Submit documents by E-mail.

You may return the above-mentioned documents via email to procurement@maconbibb.us

Option 2: Submit documents by Mail.

You may also opt to return the above-mentioned documents by mail. Please send them to the following address:

Option 3: Submit documents online.

Step 1: Complete the W-9 Form

You have two options: you can either visit the IRS website at https://www.irs.gov/forms-pubs/about-form-w-9 to download the latest W-9 form, or simply click here to download the fillable form directly. Afterward, please complete the form and sign it with your signature. You will be required to submit your completed W-9 form later.

Step 2: Complete, Sign, and Notarize the E-Verify and Private Employer Affidavit Form.

Step 3: Complete the Vendor Application and submit all the required documents.

Please note that we are exempt from sales tax and be sure to set up our account so that sales tax is not charged.
