Derrick T. Jordan, MBA
Mr. Derrick Jordan is the Chief Human Resources Officer of Human Resources for Macon-Bibb County. Mr. Jordan specializes in HR Core and Executive Leadership for Human Resources Management, his formative and professional roles were in Compensation and Finance at Medical Center Atrium Navicent Health, Wellstar Medical Group Wellstar Health System, Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, and Northeast Georgia Health System. Mr. Jordan served as a critical member of the Physician/Provider Compensation Team, providing insight into strategic and financial business analysis for over (800) Healthcare Medical Doctors, Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine, and (400) Advanced Practice Providers.
Mr. Jordan continues to work closely with local and regional business partners, delivering superior analytics, and has managed complex tasks in nationally-recognized organizations. Mr. Jordan provides additional value-added consultative analytical support and insight to the US small general manager to evaluate performance, identify profit improvement opportunities, and develop metrics with key business partners to actively manage the profitability of the merchant portfolio. Mr. Jordan is a retired Navy Chief with over 20 years of military service. As a former member of the Navy’s Career Recruiter Force, he led a cadre of exceptional HR managers who were vested with special command trust and confidence extending to administrative and managerial functions. Mr. Jordan is the Published Author of the book, “Business Character Matters, Ten Habits of Highly Successful Managers” He earned his bachelor’s and an MBA in Human Resources Management from Columbia Southern University and is a Life Member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Incorporated, Epsilon Beta Lambda Chapter, the National Honor Society – Omega Nu Lambda Chapter and the National Society of Leadership and Success – Sigma Alpha Pi Chapter.
