On Tuesday, March 17, the Macon-Bibb County Office of Small Business Affairs (OSBA) will host its fifth annual Women’s History Month Business Panel in partnership with the Alumni Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta.
The virtual panel will take place from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and is free. Anyone interested can register here.
“Over the years, these conversations have touched and inspired thousands of women in our community,” said OSBA Director Charise Stephens-Merriweather. “Our goal is to create a space where women can gain the knowledge, confidence, and momentum needed to lead, build businesses, and thrive economically.”
This year’s theme is “The Thrive Blueprint: Mind, Money, and Momentum for Black Women.” The discussion will focus on strategies for building sustainable businesses, developing the mindset needed for success, strengthening financial literacy, and creating momentum for long-term economic empowerment.
The panel is designed for aspiring entrepreneurs, small business owners, professionals, students, and community members interested in entrepreneurship, leadership, and economic empowerment. It is also open to anyone who simply wants to learn and grow.
“The Office of Small Business Affairs aims to inspire the next generation of entrepreneurs, promote financial and business literacy, and create meaningful dialogue around economic opportunity and leadership for women in Macon-Bibb and beyond,” Stephens-Merriweather added.
