Macon-Bibb County is serving up another afternoon of food, music, and family fun with the second Picnic in the Park Food Truck Festival of the 2026 season!
On Saturday, August 22, the community is invited to spend the day at Carolyn Crayton Park (150 Willie Smokie Glover Dr.) from 11:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. enjoying food from local vendors, live music, and activities for the kids.
DJ T.Luv of 3D Entertainment will keep the music going throughout the festival, while the Kid Zone will feature a trackless train ride and foam pit. Parents are encouraged to bring a change of clothes and towel for children planning to jump into the foam!
Of course, it wouldn’t be a Food Truck Festival without plenty of food. This year’s lineup includes:
- A&K Concessions
- Streetz Eatz Food Truck
- Jail Creek Farms Winery
- ABC Catering, LLC.
- Guitarras Mexican Grill
- Soul2SoulFood LLC
- PeeWee Bakery Sweet’s
- Brown’s BBQ and Catering
- WHERE DEM GIRLS AT
- Big Mike’s Southern Cooking
- Scream 4 Cream Ice Cream Truck
- Shiver Shack Shaved Ice
Whether you’re coming for lunch, the music, or just looking for something fun to do with the family, bring your lawn chairs and blankets and spend the day with us at Carolyn Crayton Park.
“Picnic in the Park is really about bringing our community together and giving families a fun, affordable way to spend the day,” says Assistant Recreation Director Armand Burnett. “You can come out, enjoy the music, let the kids have fun, and support some great local food vendors. We want everyone to bring their family and friends and enjoy everything Carolyn Crayton Park has to offer.”
Admission and all activities are free, so come enjoy the music and Kid Zone at no cost! Food and drinks will be available for purchase from participating vendors.
