The Macon-Bibb County Parks & Recreation Department will hold its first Lake Tobesofkee Christmas Boat Parade on Saturday, December 20 beginning at 6:00 p.m. The Parade will begin at the Fish & Pig Restaurant and go up the lake to the Lower Thomaston Bridge, then back to the restaurant.

Boats will be judged and prizes awarded in the categories of Power Boat, Pontoon Boat, and Sail Boat. Deadline to enter is December 19, and the application can be found by clicking here. This year’s event is sponsored by Central Ga Marina, the Fish & Pig Restaurant, Lizella Ace Hardware, Tobesofkee Lake Store, Tobesofkee Auto Sales, and Special Olympics Georgia Sailing Center
