Beginning Saturday, May 24, Macon-Bibb County will begin its summer pool schedule (see below). This year, all five of the available pools will be open on an alternating day schedule. Admission to the pools is $1.00 per person.
“We wanted to make sure, this year, that the entire community had access to the pools throughout the summer,” says Parks & Recreation Director Doc Dougherty. “With Saturday typically being our busiest day, we’re opening our largest pools on those days, and it works out that they are spaced out across the county.”

The pool at Freedom Park Community Center will remain closed all summer; this is the third summer it will be closed due to disrepair.
