Tunyu Alsobrook-Ibanez, MISM
Tunyu Alsobrook-Ibanez serves as Macon-Bibb’s Compensation Analyst where her responsibilities include managing the compensation programs and processes for Macon-Bibb County. She provides experience and support in researching, implementing, and overseeing the organization’s pay structure. She has over 16 years of experience in the Human Resources and Finance departments under the Macon-Bibb County Government. Her career began as a Human Resources Assistant then worked her way to the Finance department’s payroll division. She holds an associate of applied science degree in microcomputers, a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology with a concentration in programming from AIU, and a Master of Information Systems Management with a concentration in business information management from Walden University.
Being able to serve the public in this capacity, gives Tunyu a great sense of purpose, vision, and fulfillment. Her current role gives her the opportunity to research job requirements and evaluate job positions to ensure the company is competitive in the areas of salaries. While Tunyu values herself as an HR professional she takes pride in maintaining and building relationships with other employees and the general public.
