Shannon Dobbs
Shannon Dobbs was hired prior to consolidation with the City of Macon in 1994. In February 1999, the former HR Director offered her an opportunity to join his team in the Human Resources Department. Throughout her tenure in HR, she has been promoted several times and accomplished many things. One major accomplishment was earning her SHRM PHR Certification in March 2008.
Shannon currently serves as the Certified Wellness Coordinator. A significant part of her current role incorporates the new MBC Wellness Program. This is a perfect fit for her due to her hobbies of running, weightlifting, and outdoor activities like hiking, boating, etc. She was born and raised in Middle Georgia where she now shares her life with her husband, kids, grandkids, and fur babies.
