Shakila Killins
Shakila Killins began her journey with Macon Bibb County Government March 2015 in the Finance Department. She started as an Accounting Technician and later was promoted to Payroll Specialist. Shakila transitioned into a different embarkment as Human Resources Benefit Specialist in September 2022, where she provides benefits and related information to employees, county officials, and retirees. A few of her duties includes reviewing various billings for accuracy, research, reconciles errors and submits request for payments. Shakila diligently works in our Benefit and Payroll software systems where she runs reports and pulls records.
Ms. Killins holds an Associates of Science degree with a minor in General Education from Troy University. She’s very professional and has excellent customer service skills. The Benefit Specialist role is a perfect fit for Shakila. Shakila likes being able to learn new things and she enjoys being able to assist employees, retirees, and the public. In her spare time, she enjoys relaxing, spending time with family and friends, as well as shopping.
