Commissioner hosting neighborhood meeting Tuesday

Macon-Bibb County Commissioner Elaine Lucas will hold a neighborhood meeting at Jones Elementary School in East Macon on Tuesday, February 24, from 7:00 – 8:00 p.m. The meeting will follow the school’s Black History Program, which begins at 6:00 p.m.

“I want to invite our entire community to hear our students show you what they’ve learned about our history,” says Commissioner Lucas. “It also serves as a chance for us to come together to discuss improvements needed in our neighborhoods and how we can work together as a community and a government.
