Still have your Christmas tree up or just hanging out on your property? Bring it to Keep Macon-Bibb Beautiful’s (KMBB) annual “Bring One for the Chipper” event on Saturday, January 7, 2023, at Historic Luther Williams Field (225 Willie Smokie Glover Drive). You can bring your trees any time between 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.

All trees must be unbound and free of all decorations as those trees, and the ones collected at the Convenience Centers, will be recycled and turned into mulch or used for fish habitats.

“This is a great way to repurpose your Christmas tree,” said KMBB Executive Director Asha Ellen. “As a way to say, ‘thank you’ for your recycling, when you drop off your tree, you will receive free seed packets.”

Add in info about if they can’t bring it Saturday, they can bring to convenience centers. There’s an end date for that and include hours and addresses of each.
