It’s summertime and our pools and splash pads are officially open!

The pools at Memorial Park Recreation Center (2465 Second Street), Delores A. Brooks Recreation Center (3326 Ocmulgee E Blvd.), South Bibb Recreation Center (7035 Houston Road), Booker T. Washington Recreation Center (401 Monroe Street) will be open from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Saturday and Tuesday through Friday from 1:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Pool entry is $1.00 per person.

The pools at Frank Johnson is currently undergoing renovations as part of Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax (SPLOST)-funded projects. All pools are scheduled to open later this summer.

Splash pads at Daisy Park (1021 Daisy Park), Freedom Park (3301 Roff Ave), and Rosa Jackson Recreation Center (1211 Maynard Street) will also open on Saturday, May 24. Filmore Thomas Park is also undergoing renovations, so the splash pad will open later this summer.
