Macon-Bibb County offices will be closed Tuesday, December 31, and Wednesday, January 1, in observance of New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day. This includes City Hall, courthouses, and the Tax Commissioner’s Office. Emergency services will operate as normal.

Ryland will NOT pick up trash and recycling on Wednesday, January 1. The pick up days will shift by one day starting on Wednesday. For example, if your day is Monday or Tuesday, your pickup will not change, however, if your pickup day is Wednesday, it will shift to Thursday, if your day is Thursday, it will shift to Friday, and so on.

The Convenience Center on 11th Street will be closed on Wednesday, January 1 and will reopen on Thursday, January 2. Click here to see other hours.
