The Commission will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, July 7 at 4:00 p.m. regarding the Five-Year Short-Term Work Plan. The Plan was originally presented at the Commission meeting on June 23, and the Plan can be viewed by clicking here.

The purpose of this hearing is to brief the community on the contents of the draft plan, to provide an opportunity for residents to make suggestions, additions or revisions, and to notify the community of when the draft plan will be submitted to the regional development center for review.

With Commission Meetings again being closed to the public and held via Zoom due to the spread of COVID-19, public comments will be accepted via email and read aloud during the meeting by the Attorney’s Office. To submit comment on the Five-Year Short-Term Work Plan, email commission@maconbibb.us by 12:00 p.m. on July 7. The Public Hearing can be watched by the media and public at www.maconbibb.us and www.facebook.com/maconbibbcounty.
