Notice is hereby given that Macon-Bibb County will receive responses to the Request for Proposals for Construction Services/Design modifications (original plus 3 copies and Flash Drives) in the Procurement Department, Suite 308, Macon-Bibb City Hall, 700 Poplar Street, Macon, Georgia 31201, until 12:00 o’clock NOON at the time legally prevailing in Macon, Georgia on Thursday, May 23, 2024, for Rosa Parks Square Renovation for the Macon-Bibb County, Georgia.
NO PROPOSAL WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER THIS DESIGNATED TIME.
Minority, Women Owned and other Disadvantaged Business Enterprises are encouraged to participate in the solicitation process. Additionally, respondents are encouraged to use M/W/SLBE subcontractors where possible.
The Office of Small Business Affairs will be conducting coaching sessions for interested contractors and subcontractors on Thursday, April 25, 2024, from 12noon to 2 p.m. at the Commissioner’s Conference Room, 700 Poplar Street, Macon Georgia 31201. During these sessions, qualified vendors will have an opportunity to register to become a Certified Small Local Business Enterprise (SLBE).

Pre-Proposal
A pre-Proposal meeting conference is scheduled for 10:00 o’clock a.m., Wednesday, April 24, 2024, at Rosa Parks Square, 701 Poplar Street, Macon, GA 31201. Social distancing measures will be strictly enforced. The deadline for submitting questions is Friday, April 26, 2024, by 3:00 pm standard eastern time. Questions must be submitted via email only to lhardwick@maconbibb.us
Proposal Bond
Proposal, in order to be considered, shall be accompanied by a bond, payable to the Owner, in amount not less than five-percent (5%) of the total base Proposal.
This proposal security shall become payable to the Owner only if the Proposal, to whom award is made, should fail to execute a contract with the Owner and furnish bond and insurance in accordance with terms of the contract within ten (10) days after notification of award.
Sealed Proposals
