Sealed bids will be received by the Macon-Bibb County Procurement Department, Government Center,
700 Poplar Street, 3rd Floor, Suite 308, Macon, Georgia 31201 until 12:00 Noon. EST at the time legally
prevailing in Macon, Georgia on Thursday, June 2, 2022. The bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at
2:00 P.M. EST for furnishing all labor, materials, equipment and performing all work necessary for the
Taxiway “C” Rehabilitation at Middle Georgia Regional Airport. Major items of work include: pavement
removal, grading, base, pavement, pavement marking, seeding, mulching and related appurtenances.
PRE-BID: A Pre-Bid Conference is scheduled for Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. EST at the Middle
Georgia Regional Airport located at 1000 Terminal Dr., Macon, GA 31297. Attendance is not mandatory but
encouraged.
Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Macon-Bibb County Procurement
Department, Suite 308, Government Center, 700 Poplar Street, Macon, Georgia 31201.
Copies of the Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Issuing Office, upon payment of a one-time
administrative fee of $20.00 for digital access/file sharing access and/or payment of $150.00 for each
printed set. Said cost represents the cost of printing, reproduction, handling, and distribution, therefore no
refund will be granted. Checks for Bidding Documents shall be payable to “Goodwyn Mills Cawood, LLC.”

Each proposal must be accompanied by a bid guaranty in the amount of five (5) percent of the total amount
of the bid. The bid guaranty may be a bid bond or certified check made payable to Macon-Bibb County.
Bids may be held by Macon-Bibb County Consolidated Government for a period not to exceed ninety (90)
days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of evaluating bids prior to award of contract.
Award of contract is subject to requirements in the contract documents including, but not limited to, the

A Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Goal of 9.79% has been established for this project. Macon-Bibb
County, in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C. §§
2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that any
contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded
