Sealed bids will be received by the Macon-Bibb County Procurement Department, Government Center, 700 Poplar Street, 3rd Floor, Suite 308, Macon, Georgia 31201 until 11:00 A.M. EST at the time legally prevailing in Macon, Georgia on Wednesday, March 2, 2022 and at said time bids will be publicly opened and read aloud for furnishing all labor, materials and equipment and performing all work necessary for the: PERIMETER FENCE at MACON DOWNTOWN AIRPORT. Major items of work include: Fence, fence removal, gates, clearing and related appurtenances.
PRE-BID: A Pre-Bid Conference is scheduled for Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. EST at the Macon Downtown Airport located at 2725 Herbert Smart Road, Macon, Georgia 31217.
Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Macon-Bibb County Procurement Department, Suite 308, Government Center, 700 Poplar Street, Macon, Georgia 31201.
Copies of the Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Issuing Office, upon payment of a one-time administrative fee of $20.00 for digital access/file sharing access and/or payment of $50.00 for each printed set. Said cost represents the cost of printing, reproduction, handling, and distribution, therefore no refund will be granted. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office.
Each proposal must be accompanied by a bid guaranty in the amount of five (5%) percent of the total amount of the bid. The bid guaranty shall be a bid bond made payable to the MACON-BIBB COUNTY CONSOLIDATED GOVERNMENT.
Bids may be held by the MACON-BIBB COUNTY CONSOLIDATED GOVERNMENT for a period not to exceed ninety (90) days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of evaluating bids prior to award of contract.
