Park Rental, Events, and Programs

The Parks and Beautification Department provides complete services for all passive parks, cemeteries and downtown corridors including landscaping, tree canopies, irrigation, fountains, litter control, community partnership programs and special events. Parking Tickets

Parking tickets in the Bibb County can be issued by either the Bibb Sheriff’s Office or Park Macon-Bibb. Parking tickets within downtown Macon can be paid through Park Macon . For tickets issued outside of downtown Macon, the Municipal Court handles the payment process.

Municipal Court

In the Municipal Court of Macon-Bibb County, cases are exclusively for criminal violations, including but not limited to misdemeanor state and local law offenses, moving and non-moving traffic offenses, parking violations, school camera violations (non-criminal), and Macon-Bibb County environmental-related ordinance violations (such as building, housing, nuisance, and unsafe building abatements, and sanitation codes; properties subject to the Blight Tax, as well as business license renewal violations). Probate Court

The Probate Court has exclusive jurisdiction over the probate of wills, the administration of estates, the appointment of guardians and conservators for incapacitated adults and minor children, and commitments to involuntary evaluation and treatment for people with mental health, drug or alcohol issues. The Probate Court also issues both marriage and firearms licenses and performs a number of other administrative duties. Superior Court Clerk
