Walk It Like I Talk It: ‘Macon It’ podcast features pedestrian safety

October 31, 2025

Published by Emily Hopkins

The hosts of the Macon It podcast are joined by Gregory L. Brown from the Pedestrian Safety Review Board to talk about how everyone plays a role in keeping our community safe.

Brown gives a history of the Board, thanks former Commissioner Elaine Lucas for getting the effort started, details the outreach efforts and safety recommendations that have become a reality, and much more. He even gives safety tips for children and families headed out on Halloween to trick or treat!

With Macon It, you get to go behind the scenes of all the major stories, government services, and teamwork in Macon-Bibb, thanks to the Office of Communications. You’ll get a rundown of upcoming events, what’s recently been happening, and hear from the people making it all happen.
