Veterans Day is Wednesday, November 11, 2020. To honor and recognize the people who protect and serve our Country, Veterans Day is recognized as a National Holiday. All Macon-Bibb County Government Offices will be closed that day. The Fire Department, Sheriff’s Office, E911, and Emergency Management Agency will operate as usual.
Solid Waste pickup hours will not change at all. Advanced Disposal and the Macon-Bibb County Solid Waste Department will still pickup garbage carts, recycling carts, and yard debris as scheduled.
