Macon-Bibb County offices will be closed for Thanksgiving on Thursday and Friday, November 26 and 27, 2015. Emergency services will operate, as usual. 

People that have their garbage picked up on Thursday by the Solid Waste Department will have it picked up on Friday, November 27. People that have their garbage picked up by Advanced Disposal Services will be delayed one day. (Thursday pickup will happen Friday, and Friday pickup will happen Saturday.)

The Walker Road landfill will be closed Thursday and Friday, and open on Saturday.
