The offices of the Macon-Bibb County consolidated government will be closed for the Thanksgiving Holiday on Thursday and Friday, November 26 and 27, 2020. Emergency services will be maintained throughout the entire weekend.
Yard and bulk waste collection by the Solid Waste Department will happen Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, so people should place these items and piles on the curb by Sunday night. Trash and recycling collection by ADS will take place as scheduled Monday – Wednesday. Collections normally scheduled for Thursday and Friday will be a day behind on Friday and Saturday.
