Street improvements & repair study approved

The Commission authorized Moreland Altobelli Associates, Inc. to study 1,100 miles of paved roads in Macon-Bibb County to determine what repairs and upgrades need to be made, and by when they need to be made. This will help Macon-Bibb allocate resources to the areas where it is most needed and will have the most impact.

Improving infrastructure and improving the effectiveness of government are both areas identified in Macon-Bibb’s Forward Together Strategic Plan, and this study will help do both by better determining how funds should be spent and fixing roads.
