Staff Spotlight: Carl Crump and Gloria Dwight

This week, we are shining our Staff Spotlight on two people who work hard to make City Hall and other County buildings look their best.

Carl Crump is our Facilities Maintenance Manager, overseeing a dozen maintenance workers in the County. Crump, who was born and raised in Macon, has worked for the County for 16 years and says he loves it.

“The people, management, and the atmosphere,” said Carl. “They all make it worth it.”

Although you may see Crump most times at City Hall, he is all over the place, making sure each County building is in tip top shape. By his side, he has Gloria Dwight, a Facilities Maintenance employee. Dwight has been with the County for 20 years.

“This is unlike any job I have ever had,” said Gloria. “Like Carl said, it’s the people we work with that makes this job what it is.”

Both Carl and Gloria go above and beyond when doing their jobs, and for that we are so grateful! Thank you for all that you do.

If you would like to nominate a Macon-Bibb County employee, send your nomination to eruiz@maconbibb.us
