Staff Spotlight: Facilities Management

You never know when your job will call, especially after regularly scheduled hours, but when they’re needed, our Facilities Management team is there right away. That’s why we are shining our Staff Spotlight on them this week.

At about 6:00 a.m. on Sunday, January 16, Facilities Management was called out to Pio Nono Avenue and Anthony Road to assist after a pick-up truck collided with a 70 ft Georgia Power pole, knocking out traffic signals, after colliding with another vehicle. The group worked a 16-hour shift to get the service rebuilt on the new Georgia Power pole and to get traffic signals operating again.

“I feel like I’m fortunate enough to be the coach of the best team on any field,” said Facilities Management Director Robert Ryals. “We have the best people doing what they do anywhere. They always respond 24/7 and have a great attitude.”

Thank you for all that you do to keep our community running and safe!
