On Tuesday, May 3, the Macon-Bibb County Tax Commissioner’s Office and the management of the Tom Hill, Sr. Blvd Kroger will demonstrate the new Georgia Motor Vehicle Division self-service kiosk that has been installed in Bibb County. Interim Tax Commissioner and representatives from Kroger and the Department of Revenue were on hand to talk with the media to help let people know of this new service.

“This is a great opportunity for the people of Macon-Bibb County. They will be able to register their vehicles on their own time,” says McCord. “In the past few years, we’ve worked to reduce wait times and improve the customer’s experience at our Office, and this is just one more effort to help the people we serve.”

All they need to do is scan their driver’s license or enter their registration information and pay their fees at the kiosk, and they will be able to print their registration card and decal. According to the Department of Revenue, the process could take as little time as a minute. The kiosks will accept credit or debit cards, and instructions and voice prompts are available in both English and Spanish.
