Macon-Bibb County is inviting the construction community to a reception to meet SAFEBuilt, the company being hired to handle the inspection and permit activities for the Business Development Services Department. This meeting is open for anyone involved in the construction community, which includes, but is not limited to, contractors, design professionals, property owners, and construction companies.

The reception will be Monday, February 3, from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. in Commission Chambers in Government Center (700 Poplar Street).

“The past several months, we have been reviewing our operations to determine the best and most effective way to provide these services, and now we want to talk with the construction community about how we can all move forward together,” says County Manager Dr. Keith Moffett. “As we make this transition, we want to fully engage the people and companies this will impact and help form a strong working relationship that benefits our county.”
