If you’ve ever considered a run for public office, you have a chance to learn how to get that ball rolling. The Macon-Bibb County Board of Elections (2525 Pio Nono Avenue) is hosting a free information session at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, February 27 at their offices. People will learn about campaign contributions, disclosure reporting, record keeping, ordinary and necessary campaign expenditures, and more. It’s a non-partisan event put on by the Georgia Transparency and Campaign Finance Commission. Anyone is welcome to attend this free event, but you must RSVP. To do so, contact Elections Office Thomas Gillon at (478) 621-6622 or Tgillon@maconbibb.us.

If you have additional questions, you can reach out to DeAngelo Hall, the Public Outreach and Training Coordinator for the GA Transparency & Campaign Finance Commission. His email is dhall@ethics.ga.gov.
