The Macon-Bibb Commission approved using more than $400,00 in voter-approved SPLOST funds for three recreation projects. This money was originally budgeted for Land Acquisition. The projects include:

  • $18,960 for recreation equipment;
  • $21,600 to purchase equipment at Historic Bowden Golf Course; and
  • $360,405 for ballfield renovations at North Macon Park.
