This is the last weekend to enjoy four of our recreation department’s public pools! Saturday, August 6, 2022 is the last day pools will be open this summer season. Memorial Park, South Bibb Recreation Center, Frank Johnson Community Center, and Booker T. Washington Community Center’s pool will open from 1:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.

“It has been a hot summer and we have enjoyed seeing many families take advantage of cooling off in our pools. Unfortunately this season is coming to an end, so we hope several enjoy this last Saturday,” said Recreation Department Director Robert Walker.

The pools are open to anyone who wants to swim, and cost $1 per person.
