Pink Pancakes bringing Macon Bacon, breakfast, and charity together

It’s time for one of our most delicious traditions – The Pink Pancake Breakfast! This scrumptious morning event happens during both weekends of the International Cherry Blossom Festival, and is a labor of love by our Fire Department to raise money for the American Cancer Society. To make it even better, the fire crew is teaming up with the Macon Bacon for the second year to add a little more sizzle to your morning meal.
You’ve got two chances to get some yummy pancakes, sausage, bacon, coffee, and orange juice – Saturday, March 19, and Saturday, March 26. The breakfast is happening at our beautiful Historic Luther Williams Field from 7:00 a.m. to  10:30 a.m. Tickets are $5 for adults, $3 for children 3 and under, and did we mention it’s all you can eat?!
While you’re enjoying your breakfast in the stands, the Fire Department and the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office have some entertainment planned for everyone! This will include demonstrations and a few other surprises.
The Pink Pancake Breakfast has been going on for decades, and Chief Shane Edwards says he’s proud to continue that tradition.
“We are so excited for the beautiful weather this weekend and encourage everyone in our community to come out and have fun while supporting the American Cancer Society,” says Chief Edwards. “I truly appreciate the hard work from our firefighters to make this event so fun year after year.”
