The first Picnic in the Park of the year is happening this Saturday, April 18, at Carolyn Crayton Park (150 Willie Smokie Glover Drive).
Hosted by the Macon-Bibb County Recreation Department, the Food Truck Festival will take place from 11:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m., bringing a variety of local food vendors and family-friendly fun to the park.
“We’re so excited this community favorite is back,” said Recreation Department Director Robert Walker. “It’s a great way to support local businesses while enjoying one of our parks and spending quality time with family and friends.”
Entry is free, but food and drinks will be available for purchase. Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets and lawn chairs to relax and enjoy the day.
In addition to the food trucks listed below, there will be live music by DJ Candi, a trackless train ride, a bounce house, and more.
