At the Commission Meeting on July 19, Commissioner Paul Bronson read a proclamation honoring Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church Pastor Eddie D. Smith, Sr. for his 50 years of service. The proclamation talks about how he’s served his congregation and the community tirelessly and faithfully with compassion for five decades. In the proclamation, Mayor Miller deemed July 19 as “Pastor Eddie D. Smith, Sr. Way” in honor of the portion of road named after him by his church. After the proclamation, the Pastor’s Congregation joined him for a photo. Congratulations and THANK YOU, Pastor Eddie!
