Macon-Bibb County is launching a new video series, On Call, giving people an inside look at the employees who keep the community running every day.

The series highlights different county team members, following them through their day-to-day work and showing how their roles impact the community. From behind-the-scenes operations to hands-on service, On Call is designed to help people better understand the work happening across departments.

Produced by Multimedia Manager Olivia Walter, who films and edits each episode, the series offers a closer look at county operations through the people who make it all happen.

“Our employees are the reason Macon-Bibb works, and ‘On Call’ is a chance to celebrate them,” said Walter. “This series is about showing the real impact they have on our community every day.”

The first episode features Jason Smith, Electrical Services Manager with the Facilities Management Department. In his role, Smith helps maintain and support critical infrastructure across county buildings.

“I really enjoy working and taking care of the community I live in,” said Smith.

Through On Call, viewers will meet employees from a variety of departments and gain a better understanding of how their work supports the community every day.
