Coroner Leon Jones wants everyone to have a safe trip home from their New Year’s Celebrations. Jones is again offering free rides home for people in Macon-Bibb. Beginning at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 31, and lasting all through the night into January 1, 2023, people can call Coroner Jones and he’ll make sure you arrive home safely.  

“No one needs to wind up dead or killing someone from driving drunk. We suspended the program during covid, but we’re back and ready to get people home safe. I’ve got two vans ready to go, and even have barf bags on board. Give me a call and we’ll come get you!” says Coroner Jones.
