This week, Macon-Bibb County is joining in on the national celebration to honor nurses in our community. May 6-12 is National Nurses Week and this year’s theme is “You Make a Difference.”
On Monday, Mayor Lester Miller presented a proclamation to staff at Atrium Health Navicent.
The nearly 1,600 nurses at Atrium Health Navicent continue to go above and beyond to provide high-quality patient care and the demand for nursing services is growing because of the aging of the American population, the continuing expansion of life-sustaining technologies, and the innovative, creative, and non-traditional roles that nurses are now entering.
