Government offices closed, trash service delayed for Memorial Day

Memorial Day is Monday, May 30, and Macon-Bibb Government offices will be closed for the holiday. That includes City Hall, most departments, and the courts but does not include emergency services. Sheriff, Fire, and E911 services will remain active.  

Trash, recycling, yard waste , and bulk item pickup will all be delayed a day next week. Monday households will be picked up Tuesday, and so on. Friday collection will happen on Saturday.  To check your collection day for the week and all other weeks, click here

The Convenience Center on 11th Street will also be closed on Memorial Day. It will close at noon the day before, Sunday, May 29.
