All Macon-Bibb County government offices and the court system will be closed on Monday, May 29, in observance of Memorial Day. Emergency services will remain operational.

Convenience Center #1 (1010 11th Street) will be closed on Sunday, May 28 and Monday, May 29 and will reopen on Tuesday, May 30. Convenience Center #2 (4214 Fulton Mill Road) will be closed Sunday, May 28 and will reopen Thursday, June 1.

Trash and yard waste collection will be delayed one day, so services will run Tuesday through Saturday. So, if your normal day is Monday, it will be Tuesday; if your day is Friday, it will be Saturday. Recycling and bulk waste pickup will not be affected since that doesn’t happen that week.

If you have any questions regarding solid waste pickup, you can call Ryland Environmental at (866) 898-4411. If you have questions about the Convenience Centers, you can call the Solid Waste Department at (478) 803-0499.
