On Wednesday, January 29, Mayor Lester Miller and several Maconites were recognized as the state’s 100 Most Influential Georgians by Georgia Trend magazine. Several others were recognized as Notable Georgians. 

“This recognition shows us that the state sees what our entire team is doing here in Macon-Bibb County,” says Mayor Miller. “By working together with a shared vision for the future of our community, we are leading the state and country in many areas, and I’m honored to be part of that team.” 

Other Maconites in the Top 100 list include Will Bentley, Tim Lowrimore, and Bill Underwood. Notable Georgians include Stephen Adams and Jessica Walden. The full lists can be read by clicking here.
