Join Bike Walk Macon on Saturday, November 8, for Macon’s Big Bike Ride – an unforgettable ride with hundreds of bicyclists through Downtown, Intown, and East Macon, and along the Ocmulgee Heritage Trail.

This year’s ride is a special one. They’re highlighting the projects and progress that are making Macon more bike/ped-friendly, while also recognizing Josh Rogers – a leader and founding Bike Walk Macon board member who helped shape much of this work.

This year’s ride starts at the Otis Redding Center for the Arts, and along the route, you’ll hear more about Rosa Parks Square, Bicentennial Park, the Ocmulgee Heritage Trail, Walnut Street bike lanes, and the National Park initiative.

Date: Saturday, November 8, 2025

Time: Kickoff Party & Registration: 2:30-3:30 PM | Ride: 4:00 PM

Location: Otis Redding Center for the Arts (436 Cotton Avenue)

Tickets: $10 per person (Kids under 12 ride free!). Act fast – tickets will increase to $15 on the day of the ride.

After the ride, join them at Fall Line Brewing Co. for beers to support the Ocmulgee Heritage Trail at 6:00 p.m.

Bike Walk Macon is also raffling off a brand new TREK Verve 1 Hybrid bike, complete with custom Thomson upgrades, donated by their friends at Bike Thomson.

Grab your tickets online or at the ride on November 8. They’ll announce the winner at the after-party at Fall Line Brewing Co. You don’t have to be there to win (but we hope you will be!). Let’s make a statement for safer, more connected streets in Macon. Can’t wait to ride with you!
