Macon-Bibb County’s IT Department is currently in the process of redesigning the consolidated government’s website, and it is looking for feedback from the public about the current site and what they’d like to have changed or improved for the new site. The survey is live online now for people to fill out with their opinions here: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/3KQQD7H.
“Our community’s input will help guide our design process and content strategy, all to make sure we are providing useful and relevant information to the public in the best way possible,” says Barbara Marlin, GIS Manager. “We want to know what people think about how well the current site works, how they use it, what information they look for, and how it can all be improved.”
“This is part of our ongoing efforts to incorporate more effective use of technology in how we provide services and information to people, and in our information age, our website should be the first place people go for anything related to their consolidate government,” says County Manager Dr. Keith Moffett.
The Macon-Bibb County website currently features information about all departments, courts, and agencies, as well as links to partner agencies and organizations, media outlets, useful information, and more. It also contains recent news regarding the consolidated government and its partners, open bids for companies to provide services, how to apply to become a vendor, job applications, and much more.
The survey is also being sent to all Macon-Bibb County employees, vendors/contractors, partner agencies, area businesses, and more.
