Lake Tobesofkee is kicking off a brand-new tradition with a weekend full of fall fun at the very first Oc-Tobo-Fest! The three-day festival will take place October 24–26 at Sandy Beach Park (6880 Moseley Dixon Rd.), giving families and friends the perfect way to celebrate the season together.
“We are so excited to bring this family-friendly event to our park for the first time ever,” says Lake Tobesofkee Director Donald Bracewell. “We want this to be something everyone can enjoy, whether they come for a day or stay all weekend. We already have a great lineup of vendors and entertainment, but we’d love to welcome even more to join us.”
Guests can look forward to a wide variety of activities, including a bustling craft fair, live music, a fun-filled kid zone, and plenty of local vendors showcasing unique products. A delicious lineup of food trucks will also be on-site, featuring favorites like Margaritas, SO Yummy BBQ, and Cousins Maine Lobster. It’s the perfect place to enjoy great food, shop for one-of-a-kind items, and take in the cooler weather on the lake.
Organizers are still seeking additional vendors and sponsors to help make this first-year festival even more memorable. Anyone interested is encouraged to reach out to Jennifer McCafferty with Jen’s Market & Events at jennifer@jens-market.com.
Admission is just $3.00 per person, and children under 6 get in free. Mark your calendars, gather your friends, and plan to be part of this exciting new tradition at Lake Tobesofkee!
