Two Macon-Bibb parks will soon see improvements. Commissioners approved Phase 1 of the Master Plans for Mattie Hubbard Jones Park, (located at the corner of 1^st and 2^nd Avenues, near L.H. Williams Elementary School) and Henry Burns Park (corner of Ingleside and Ridge Avenues).

Renovations are being paid for with voter-approved SPLOST money, and WM2A is the architecture firm for both. You can find details on the Mattie Hubbard Jones Park plan here, and the Henry Burns Park plan here.
