Our Human Resources Department represented Macon-Bibb County very well at the Georgia Local Government Personnel Association (GLGPA) Fall conference last month in Jekyll Island.
The department received was selected as GLGPA’s Large Government Human Resources Department 2023 Award Recipient. This award was presented for successfully implementing (2) years of effective organizational change.
“Macon-Bibb Human Resources has formally developed new and innovative processes in our day-to-day workflow,” said HR Director Derrick Jordan. “By aligning HR’s departmental strategic plan with the County’s Organizational strategy, HR has a much more positive and impactful focus on our overall employee population and culture of operations.”
