Small portion of Spring St. to close for park expansions, renovations

June 9, 2017

Continuing the County’s mission to provide green spaces for everyone in the community to enjoy, two parks near St. Jospeh’s Catholic School will receive renovations. The small portion of Spring Street that runs between High Street Park and Lanier Park will be closed permanently. This is so crews can expand and beautify the parks on either side, and to provide a safer recreation environment for pedestrians and children. You can read the full language of the resolution, comments from community members on the closing of this road, and see more photos of the area, by clicking here.
