Government, trash hours ahead of holiday weekends

Macon-Bibb County will observe the federal holiday, Juneteenth, and close all government offices, including court system, on Monday, June 19, 2023. Emergency and law enforcement services will remain operational, including the Fire Department, Sheriff’s Office, E-911, and EMA.  

Both Convenience Centers will be closed Monday, 6/19.Ryland Environmental will remain operational that day, so trash, recycling, and bulk waste collection days will not change during the week 

Our government offices, court system, and Convenience Centers will also be closed on the Tuesday, July 4, but emergency services will still be available.

Ryland Environmental will collect trash, recycling, and waste on Monday, July 3, but not July 4. Services will be delayed by one day beginning Wednesday, July 5.
