Government offices closed in observance of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day

Macon-Bibb County government offices will be closed on Monday, January 17, 2022 in observance of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. Emergency services and law enforcement will remain active with no interruption.
Ryland Environmental will continue solid waste collection services without interruption the week of January 17-21. This is a recycling collection week, and that occurs on the same day as your trash collection. The Solid Waste Department – including the temporary Convenience Center on 11th Street – will be closed on Monday, January 17. Services will resume operation on Tuesday, January 18. The Convenience Center will also be open on Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. since the hours were expanded at the beginning of the month.
