Macon-Bibb County Mayor Pro Tem and District 9 Commissioner Al Tillman is continuing his series of public forums on Monday, July 30 at 6:30 p.m. at the new South Bibb Recreation Center (7035 Houston Road ). The forums are being held in different areas of the county to provide people with an update on and ask questions about their consolidated government. The first forum was held on at Claystone Park at Lake Tobesofkee, and about 30 people attended.

“I want to thank everyone that joined us at the first forum held at Lake Tobesofkee and want to invite people in South Bibb to join us Monday for another great discussion about the direction of their consolidated government and community,” says Mayor Pro Tem Tillman.

The third and fourth forums have not yet been scheduled, but they will be hosted in different areas of the county in order to give as many people as possible the chance to attend. Since the consolidated Macon-Bibb County was created on January 1, 2014, Mayor Pro Tem Tillman and other Commissioners have held similar forums to help keep the community informed.
