As part of the Air Force Salutes program, the 339th Flight Test Squadron in conjunction with the 561st Aircraft Maintenance Squadron at Robins Air Force Base will conduct a local flyover on Tuesday, 5 May, 2 pm.  The F-15 will travel over Macon (Coliseum & Navicent Medical Center & Beverly Knight Children’s Hospital), Perry (Perry Hospital) and Warner Robins (Houston Medical Center) – see below estimated times.

Coliseum Hospital and Navicent Medical Center | 2:00 – 2:10

–          Single pass over Coliseum, east to west in front of the hospital

–          Single pass over Medical Center Navicent, approx. northwest to southeast down Pine St

Perry Hospital and Houston Medical Center | 2:15 – 2:25

–          Single pass over Perry Hospital, south to north in front of hospital

–          Single pass over Houston Medical Center/Watson Blvd will begin at I-75 and run the length of Watson Blvd terminating into the Robins AFB tower pattern.

The program’s purpose is to demonstrate the Department of the Air Force’s continued readiness during the national COVID-19 response, while saluting the American heroes at the forefront in our fight against COVID-19.  The flyovers are a way for the U.S. Air Force to show appreciation to healthcare workers, first responders, military, and other essential workers during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Robins AFB will post on the base Facebook page and website (www.robins.af.mil) with hashtags #AirForceSalutes#AFFlyover and #AmericaStrong.  We welcome viewers to tag the flyover on social media with these hashtags.  Local media will receive a press advisory also.
